Garden arose when Kezuik Maggie and her husband, Charles Jencks, began to dig a pond. Excavated soil to be used to create the steep banks, echoing the contours of the surrounding hills. For Maggie, an expert on Chinese gardens, it was quite natural that they should represent “earth dragon” on the background horizon. However, these sculptural forms, it turned out, could also symbolize the scientific and cosmological concepts that Jencks, an architect and a pioneer, used in his work.

So there was a metal ornament from the double helices and flat, offering a set of values: from Marxist dialectics to the theory of chaos and the structure of DNA. There is a strong tradition of gardens under the influence of literature. This garden, on the contrary, covers math and science, especially fractal geometry (a term that arose in 1977 to describe natural phenomena). We are accustomed to gardens created by a straight line.
